Stampac and LEKO - competence from one source
The origin of today's STAMPAC dates back to 1973, when Hans-Bernd Lesch founded his design office focusing on the conception, construction and assembly of special machines in the packaging sector.
In 1998 LEKO Verpackungstechnik GmbH was founded. At the time, LEKO packaging technology focused on the development, design and assembly of special machines for the packaging of confectionery. These machines are still characterized by their reliability, consistent packaging quality and high performance. For this e.g. the robust construction and the ease of maintenance are responsible. Since the end of the last millennium, we also supply the pharmaceutical industry in the B2B business with packaging machines and individual modules.
Our clients include international acting corporations, with whom a long-standing and confidential partnership has been established.
By purchasing the new premises in August 2008, we were also able to integrate the assembly, commissioning and service of the machines. Individual lines have now been delivered with packaging capacities of up to 1,600 high-quality and reliably packaged products per minute with automatic in and outfeed. Through the merger of LEKO and STAMPAC in 2018, we will expand our sales activities in international markets and develop new applications.

Complex processes can only be learned if you are close at hand and have no fear of getting your hands dirty. That‘s why his career began with a classic apprenticeship as a mechanic after graduation. Thanks to the outstanding dual training system in Germany, he was able to prepare himself for the studies of mechanical engineering at the University of Dortmund. During his PhD in robotics and gripping technology at the University of Dortmund, he registered his first patents in the field of packaging machine construction.
After completing an additional MBA in Kempten, Allgäu and Cape Town, South Africa, he has been working in several technical leadership positions in various branches of the packaging industry. The types of packaging realized here are e.g. wrapped, folded and embossed aluminum foil packaging, full wrap plastic packaging, thermo formed plastic packaging and various types of carton and tray packaging.
As the owner and managing partner of Stampac GmbH and former LEKO Verpackungstechnik GmbH, which has been integrated since July 2018, he combines his passion for complex types of packaging, the latest technologies and international cooperation with highly interesting customers.

Experience counts. Hans-Bernd Lesch got this principle early through his father Hans Lesch. He started his own business around 1970 with his engineering office for technical consulting in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Ideal conditions for the son of a genius designer to learn from his wealth of experience. Already as a student, Hans-Bernd Lesch makes his first patent drawings in his father's office. With these first-hand insights and the same talent for precise and exceptionally thought-out constructions, Hans-Bernd Lesch studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Munich (TUM).
After successfully completing his diploma in engineering, he worked on a research assignment at the TUM Institute of Materials Science, focused on the subject of "Ultrasonic influence on the structure of aluminum materials" in cooperation with Siemens. Already during this time, he worked with his father to build his own engineering office, founded in 1973. After the end of research in 1979, Hans-Bernd Lesch focuses entirely on his office. To consider also the economic perspective in engineering Lesch accomplished successfully a further degree in industrial engineering at the TUM.
In 1997 Hans-Bernd Lesch founds LEKO-Verpackungstechnik GmbH. With all his strength, great ability, talent, know-how and a highly specialized team, he designs and constructs special purpose machines for the confectionery and pharmaceutical industries. Countless well-known customers have already become aware of this packaging machine artist, are advised by him and still benefit from his wealth of experience, because: Experience counts.’
